William J. Ooms, age 83, of Holland, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on Monday, October 9, 2017, at his home.
Bill was born in Holland and was a lifelong resident. He served in the United States Marines during the Korean Conflict.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine in 2009.
Surviving are his children, Bill and Susan Ooms, Tom and Nancy Ooms, and Ron Ooms; 2 grandchildren, Jordan Ooms and Nathan Ooms; brothers, Rob Ooms and Ed and Harriet Ooms; in-laws, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Military graveside services will be 12:30 pm, Wednesday, October 18, at Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland.
Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Downtown Chapel.
