William Bosma

William J. Bosma, age 86, of Holland passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 at Hospice House of Holland.

Bill attended Central Wesleyan Church. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army. He retired from Brewers City Dock. Bill enjoyed playing cards, travelogues, camping and bus trips with the church. He loved spending time with the grandchildren at ballgames and other activities. He was preceded in death by his wife Angeline in March of 2011.

He is survived by his children, Nelson and Ruth Bosma of Zeeland, Bonnie and Glen Beekman of Holland, Kathy and Jim (Larry) Kender of Holland, Nancy and Steve Dick of Holland, Jeffrey and Marilee Bosma of Holland, Terry and Shelly Bosma of Grand Haven; 23 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Bernard (Marion) Bosma of Holland, Jennette Renkema of Holland, Bette and Peter Yonker of Holland, Mrs. Harold (Henrietta) Bosma; sisters and brother-in-law, Louise and Gerald Ortman of Holland, Julius and Janet Banger of West Olive, Mrs. Reynold (Jeane) Banger of Holland; several nephews, nieces and cousins

A funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Central Wesleyan Church Chapel 446 West 40th Street in Holland. Reverend Larry Johnson will be officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
