Walter "Walt" Victor Jr.

Walter Victor Jr., age 90, of Holland, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, at American House.

Walt was a charter member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and he ran a family building contracting business. Walt was an avid hunter (especially deer and bear), he loved sports (watching and playing), and he enjoyed ALL kinds of food. Walt took many wonderful trips with his family and friends. He especially adored the "fab 5" (his grandchildren). From an early age, he "cheered, cheered for ole Notre Dame"

He is survived by his children, Christina Ackerson of Holland and Nancy (Tony) Verheyen of Waterford, Michigan; grandchildren, Zachary Ackerson, Carlie Ackerson, Connor (Olivia) Verheyen, Logan Verheyen and Morgan Verheyen; brother, Leonard Victor of Holland; nieces, nephews and cousin.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 31, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, at the Dykstra Funeral Home - Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue, Holland.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 1, at 11:00am, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 480 152nd Avenue, Holland. Visitation will also be held one hour prior (10:00am to 11:00am), at the church. Father Michael Burt presiding. Interment will take place in Lakewood Cemetery.
