Life Story / Obituary
Vivian Maxine Wennersten, age 99, passed away February 24, 2021 at home surrounded by family.
Viv was born December 17, 1921 at the family farm in Saranac, Michigan. There she learned the value of hard work, perseverance, fortitude, thriftiness, and most importantly, the love of family.

Viv enjoyed travel, gardening, bird watching and spending time with her family and friends. As a devoted mother, she made time to be a Camp Fire Girls leader and a school library volunteer. Later she and Ed were volunteers at Evergreen Commons. They contributed to many charities, but her favorite was St. Jude's Hospital.
Vivian is survived by her children; Sheryn Wennersten (Jim) Mosher, Dr. Don Wennersten, Jim (Chris) Wennersten, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Homes-Downtown Chapel.
