Virginia Alaniz

Virginia Alaniz, age 85, of Holland, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo; grandson, Joey Alaniz; siblings, Victoria Medrano, Janie Ochoa, Julio Sarabia and Luis Muniz Pena. She is survived by her children, Gloria Alaniz, Alfredo (Janet) Alaniz Jr., Elizabeth Alaniz, Michael (Lisa) Alaniz, Robert (Julie Segovia) Alaniz; long time family friend, Frank Saldana; grandchildren, Anthony, Ricardo, Gavin, and Marissa Alaniz; great-grandchildren, Alana, Christopher, Miles, Angel, Jesse and Leilani Alaniz; siblings, Pedro Pena, Gabriel Pena and Bertha Pena.

The Alaniz family will receive visitors on Wednesday, November 15, from 11:00am until 12:00pm, at the Dykstra Funeral Home - Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue, Holland. Following visitation a funeral procession will make its way from the funeral home to Olive Township Cemetery to honor Virginia's life and legacy with a graveside ceremony and interment. Pastor Aron Garcia will preside over the service.
