It is with immense sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tonya Tucker, 53, of Allegan, Michigan, on February 23, 2026.

Daughter of Robert and Barbara (Kraker) Tucker, Tonya was born on September 18, 1972, at Holland Hospital. Tonya was the oldest of three children and among the oldest of several grandchildren from the Tucker and Kraker families. Growing up, weekends were spent at grandparents’ homes playing with the cousins. She graduated from Hamilton High School and Grand Valley State University. Tonya enjoyed tennis and directing theater plays – most recently with Holland Community Theatre and Allegan Community Players. She absolutely loved spending time with her family. Thanksgiving was a favorite holiday, surrounded by good food and even better company. She took great joy in watching her nieces and nephews grow and thrive in their activities. Tonya had a close-knit group of friends and cherished evenings spent around a campfire. She loved sticky notes, planning road trips, and staying organized. A selfless and caring person, she often set aside her own needs to help others. She worked at Perrigo in Allegan for nearly 20 years, most recently as a Quality Engineer.

Tonya is survived by her father, Robert of Holland; her brothers Craig (Kerry) Tucker of Hopkins; Jason (Michelle) Tucker of Hamilton; nieces and nephews – Katrina, Caleb and Colby Tucker of Hopkins; Breanna (Mitch) Bouma of Grand Rapids; Kaitlyn (Reese) Beck of Holland; Bryce Tucker of Grand Haven and several aunts and uncles. Preceded in death are her mother Barbara; grandparents Robert & Betty Kraker and Jerrold & Sarah Tucker; and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation is Friday, February 27 from 4-7pm and Saturday, February 28 from 10-11am at Hamilton Reformed Church, Hamilton. Service will be Saturday at 11am at Hamilton Reformed Church. In lieu of flowers, donations of food/personal goods may be made to any food pantry of choice.
