Timothy R. Walker, age 76 of Holland, MI, passed away March 3, 2023 at his home.

Tim was born in Grand Rapids, MI to Charles R. and June Walker. He graduated from Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School in 1964. Following high school, he attended Aquinas College, Grand Valley State University and Chaminade University in Hawaii as well as King's Point Merchant Marine Academy. Tim worked many jobs over his life. He taught 5th grade in Cheboygan, MI, was a restaurant manager in Bloomfield Hills, and most recently was a stock & commodities broker and realtor in Southern California. He also spent time managing the family pickle factory. Outside of work, his hobbies included sailing, skiing, working as a wild animal park tour guide, hunting for morel mushrooms, and enjoying a good rare steak with a glass of cabernet.

He will be remembered for his jovial laugh, twinkle in his eye, and his lifelong adventures. Tim was found most in his element when he was on the water sailing and racing boats. He had a strong faith in God and he truly lived life to the fullest. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Richard “Dick” & June Walker.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Patricia; children, Wendy Walker, Brett Walker; grandson, Gabriel Walker; brother, Pat (Martha) Walker; sister, Mary Lokker; sister-in-law, Diane Porter, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, March 8 at 11:00am at St. Peter Catholic Church in Douglas with a luncheon to follow the service.
