Thomas Weatherwax

Thomas Weatherwax, age 80, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by family and faith.

A devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, Tom’s life was one of deep faith, quiet strength, and an enduring love for the outdoors. He found his greatest peace while hunting and fishing, sharing those moments with friends and family who will forever cherish the memories made beside him.

Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Patricia Weatherwax; his sons Brian (Heather) and Kevin Weatherwax (Brittany); grandchildren Baily (Kassie), Logan, Cameron, and Layne Weatherwax; and great-grandson Atlas. He is also survived by his sisters Sharon Zimmer, Diane (Rob) Parsons, and Laurie (Brian) Kent; sisters-in-law Julie (Howard) Veneklasen and Kathy (Dave) Sundin; and brothers-in-law Ron (Gloria) Kragt and Jim Kragt.

Tom’s legacy will live on in the laughter of his family, the quiet moments spent in nature, and the faith that carried him through his life’s journey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland in Tom’s memory.
