Thomas Vander Roest

On Wednesday, August 26, 2009, Thomas was promoted to Glory. Thomas was born on March 16, 1988 in Peoria, Ill. Thomas was a loving, caring, intelligent young man who loved making others laugh and will always be remembered with so much love and laughter. Thomas is survived by his mother Michelle Vander Roest, daughter Da’Myra Vander Roest, sister, Inviana Vander Roest, brothers Darius and Timothy Vander Roest; grandparents, John and Judie Vander Roest; uncle, Michael Vander Roest, aunt Dawnita and uncle Rafael Diaz, aunt Darla and uncle Evan Wheeler; and cousins Samantha Vander Roest, Alana and Erik Diaz, and Colin Wheeler. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, 10:00am, at Brookside CRC, 3600 Kalamazoo Ave. S.E., Grand Rapids, with visitation from 9:30 - 10:00am.
