Susan Meyer

Susan Gail Meyer, age 64, of Irons, formerly of Zeeland, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 in Irons, MI.

Susan was born in Holland and graduated from West Ottawa High School. She was formerly employed at Kent Holland Die Cast, General Electric in Holland, and Gentex in Zeeland before moving to Irons, MI.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lillian (Van Bemmelen) Meyer; and her brother, Terry Meyer.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Jim Wayward of Irons; her son, Jamie Meyer of Zeeland; her grandchildren, Ashley Wayward, Cory Wayward, Emmy Wayward, Josh Wayward, Adam and Jessica Leeuw, Alyssa Meyer, and Alec Meyer; her brothers; Jeff and Mary Meyer of Holland, Mark and Joy Meyer of Holland; and her nieces and nephews.

A memorial services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Vriesland Reformed Church, 6839 Byron Road in Zeeland with Rev. Tim Rotman officiating.

Visitation will be held from 2-5pm on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Northwood Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes, 295 Douglas Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
