Sue Myrick, age 91, of Holland, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013 at Tendercare of Holland.

Sue was born in Holland, MI to Charles and Jeanette (Rosendahl) Klungle on December 6, 1921 and was a lifelong resident of Holland. She was a member of Christ Memorial Church and a former member of Fourth Reformed Church. She worked as a hostess at Russ’ Restaurant for several years. Sue will always be remembered for her zest and love for life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Myrick in 1986.

She is survived by her children, Robert F. and Elizabeth Myrick of Grosse Ile, Michael and Sally Myrick of Holland, and Carol Myrick and David Kuebler of Williamston; her grandchildren, Marc and Angela Myrick, Suzanne and Todd Wertman, Jamie Myrick, and Bryan and Lisa Myrick; seven great grandchildren; her brother, Charles Klungle of Holland, her sisters, Ila Schutt of Holland, and Eleanor (George) Moes of Holland; her in-laws, Ruth Klungle of Holland, Doris Asher of IN, Dr. Walt Howland of Bay City, Leo Green of Holland, and Edna Jordan of IN.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Thursday, August 22, 2013 in the Chapel of Christ Memorial Church, 595 Graafschap Road with Rev. Bill Boersma officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10-11am on Thursday at Christ Memorial Church.

Burial and committal services will take place in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland.
