Stephen Lemmen

Steve D. Lemmen, age 65, of Saugatuck, MI, passed away June 14, 2023, in Holland.

Steve was born in Holland, MI to Doug and Eldora on December4, 1957. He earned a degree from WMU and was a member of Kappa Delta PI and Golden Key National Honor Society. He went on to have a successful career in teaching at area schools.

Steve loved his Corvettes, shooting range, and working out at the gym. He had a love for reading textbooks. Steve was always learning and willing to share what he learned. His most love was living on Goshorn Lake with Denise.

Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Eldora Brouwer Lemmen.

Steve is survived by his wife Denise of 42 years; sister, Carolyn Youngblood; father, Douglas Lemmen; nephews, Joseph Youngblood and Andy Youngblood.

A Celebration of Steve’s life will be at a later date.

Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel.
