Stanley Jarczak

Stanley Edward Jarczak, 79, beloved husband and father, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Stan was born on January 29, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, the oldest of three siblings. A graduate of the Detroit Institute of Technology, Stan worked for years as a sales representative in the automotive industry and later in the insurance industry. In both fields, his integrity, genial nature, and good humor won him many loyal customers and friends. In his own words, he strove to be a "straight shooter" and most certainly succeeded.

In his spare time, Stan enjoyed traveling, reading, keeping up on the news, dining out (from fancy to fast food), watching movies (particularly Westerns, rom-coms, and superhero flicks), meeting his pals for early morning coffee, and cheering on the Lions, Red Wings and Wolverines (even in the bad seasons).

Stan and his cherished wife Colleen were happily married for 44 years. After her tragic passing in 2019, he was appreciative of the love and support of his son, brother, sister, and sister-in-law.

Stan was also preceded in death by his mother Mary Jarczak and Uncle Thaddeus "Teddy" Nowak. He is survived by son Steven (Jessica) Jarczak of Los Angeles, brother Raymond (Kathleen) Jarczak of Holland, sister Mary Jane Jones of Allen Park, nephew Christopher (Nora) Jarczak of Chicago, and niece Andrea Moore of Dallas.

A memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, February 14th at 1:00pm at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 480 152nd Avenue, Holland, MI 49424. Stan’s urn will be placed with his wife Colleen’s urn in Pilgrim Home Cemeteries indoor columbarium.
