Stacy Hamstra Bird, age 47, of Holland, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021.
Stacy was born in Holland, to Stanley and Diane (Barker) Hamstra, graduated from West Ottawa High School in 1991, and attended Grand Valley State University. Stacy was employed by the West Ottawa Public Schools for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Stan in 2014. Stacy is survived by her children, Avery Bird, Adel Bird, and Milicent Bird; mother, Diane Hamstra; siblings, Tamara and David Weaver and Nathan and Amanda Hamstra; uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 11 am Monday (August 23), at Beechwood Church, 895 Ottawa Beach Road, with Rev. Marlin Vis officiating. Service will be livestreamed at https://beechwoodchurch.org/. Click WATCH and LIVESTREAM. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-4 Sunday (August 22), at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue.
