Shirley Poledore, age 73 of West Olive, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023. Shirley was born in Niles, MI to Lloyd and Mary (Longnecker) Ross.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Henry in 2014; parents, Lloyd and Mary Ross; siblings, Vivian Velasquez, Madelon Lopez, Dennis Ross, and Scott Ross.
Surviving are her children, Christie & Lupe Ramirez, Jamie & Anaya Poledore, and Jonathan & Judy Poledore; grandchildren: Dezarae Hernandez, Ramon Hernandez, Jayden Hernandez, Octavio Poledore, Zayvion Poledore, Leland Poledore, Zhylea Poledore, Isaiah Poledore, Kallum Poledore, Ciara Poledore, Drew McCormack, Dre McCormack, and Devon McCormack; siblings, Alice Hitze, Lyle Ross, Carl Ross, and Diana Mann; nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday (August 29) at Cornerstone Tabernacle , 781 Lincoln Avenue, with Rev. Paul Castaneda officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Kalamazoo, MI. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Monday (August 28) at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Northwood Chapel.
