Sharon K. Sutherland, age 68, passed away August 11, 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, William and Mildred Helmkamp.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Robert “Doug” Sutherland; daughter, Tina (Jack) McConnell; son, Rob (Erin) Sutherland; daughter, Jeanette Sutherland; son, William (Mandy) Sutherland. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kaylie and Jaxson McConnell; Elijah, Jude, and Fiona Sutherland; Willow and Isla Sutherland; and her brother, Dennis Helmkamp.
A visitation will take place Friday, August 15 at 1:00 pm at Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel; 295 Douglas Ave, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made in Sharon’s memory to Gentiva Hospice or Oak Crest Communities.
