Sharon Lea Ooms, age 74, passed away peacefully at her home on October 11, 2014.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert Ooms; her children: Kevin (Sharon) Ooms, Kristine (Dale Carpenter) Ooms, and Kari (Al) Castaneda. She is also survived by her grandson, Nicholas Dale Ooms; granddaughters, Katelyn and Elizabeth Behre; grandsons, Daniel and Caleb Guerra and Aaron Walker; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra Hamberg, and brothers, Frank and David Boersema.
Visitation Tuesday, October 14, from 6-8 pm at Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel; 188 West 32nd Street. Funeral service Wednesday, October 15, at 11:00 am at Restlawn Memorial Gardens Chapel; 994 Paw Paw Drive.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Sharon’s memory to Hospice of Holland.
