Sandra Vander Zwaag

Sandra Lynn Vander Zwaag, age 62, of Holland died Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Holland Hospital.

Sandra was a member of North Holland Reformed Church. She loved family and enjoyed watching sports. Sandra was passionate about loving and caring for others, a very giving person. Sandra was the secretary for B & J Towing for many years. She was preceded in death by her father Willard Van Den Berge in 1971 and a step-father Edwin Abma in 1998.

She is survived by her children: Daniel and Patricia Vander Zwaag of Holland, Deborah and Jared Olson of Grand Haven; grandchildren: Jacob and Madeline Vander Zwaag, Gracelynn and Garrett Olson; mother: Margaret Abma of Holland; brother and sister: Willard Jr. and Shelly Van Den Berge of Holland, Brenda and Mel Rus of Zeeland; step-brothers: Jerry and Norma Abma of Clarinda, Iowa, Raymond and Debra Abma of Houston, TX, David Abma of DeMoines, Iowa, Steve and Lavon Abma of Rock Valley, Iowa, Alan and Christine Abma of Holland, Bob and Igor Abma of Ottawa, Canada; many nieces, nephews and cousins

A funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 24, 2015 at North Holland Reformed Church 12050 New Holland Street in Holland. Reverend Steven DeVries will be officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Friday, January 23, 2015 at the church and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be given to North Holland Reformed Church.
