Sandra Kuipers

Sandra Kay Kuipers, age 84, passed away on October 12, 2023, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Dementia. She was born on September 29, 1939, in Holland Michigan, the daughter of Samuel and Cornelia Kole. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 46 years, Ronald Dale Kuipers in 2003, great-grandson Chandler Joseph Thompson in 2014, and brothers Robert Kole and Ronald Kole.

Sandra cherished spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always thrifting and surprising everyone with treasures she found. She retired from Magna Donnelly and, as of late, loved socializing at Evergreen Commons.

Sandra, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother will be deeply missed and is survived by her son, Curtis Kuipers (Cory, Heather, Elizabeth, Kaylee, Megan, and Hannah), her daughter’s Vickie and (Bryan) Hammond (Amy, Eric, and Brianna), and Lisa and (Rodney) Briskorn (Morgan, Kiannah and Brittany) and great grandchildren Ellary, Reagan, Beckham, Raelyn, Makynlee, Hazel, Knox, Ella, Sofia, Maxwell, Silas, Sarie, Taelyn, Holden, Beau and Ryder.

A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 1:00pm at Dykstra Funeral Home -Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Ave, Holland. Visitation will take place prior to the service starting at 12:00pm.

A private burial will take place at Lakewood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Evergreen Commons.
