Sandra Buhl

Sandra Lou Buhl, age 83, passed away on July 29, 2022, in the family home in Holland, MI.

Surviving is her son Mark and his wife Amy; grandsons Nathan, Christian and his wife Madyson; nieces Kristina and Joanna. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bea and Albert Cox and brother, Tom Cox.

Sandra was born in Toledo, Ohio. She graduated from Devilbiss High School in 1956, graduated from Wittenberg University in 1960. She married Paul Buhl in 1960, living in Philadelphia, Denver, and Germany. She continued to pursue her career as a counselor and social worker, with her last job at the American Cancer society in Albuquerque, NM.

Sandra was an avid artist, enjoying teaching others. Even though she only lived in Holland three years, she was heavily involved in the community and her church Grace Episcopal. She was instrumental in organizing volunteers for the Community Action House Food Club, and other charities. People who knew Sandra, enjoyed their time and deep conversations; she was always trying to help others.

No funeral services will be held.
