Sally Ann Mudd, age 45, of Hamilton passed away Friday, May 18, 2012 at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus.

Dedicated wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. Sally never missed a game or event. She was a paraprofessional who worked one on one with students in life skills class at Hamilton middle school and high school. Sally was a member of the Hamilton PTO and served as President and Vice President. Her favorite event to host and run was family fun night. She also ran the little league concession stand. Sally graduated from Northwood University where she met Glenn, the love of her life. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Sally had many things she enjoyed in her life, which included decorating her home for the holidays, especially Christmas and Halloween. Also, taking her family camping to Tawas allowed her to do all of her favorite things, such as reading, drinking her iced tea and laying by the pool or on the beach. Most of all it allowed her to make memories laughing and loving with her family.

“Sally Time” was something that was looked forward to by everyone. Whether it was talking, laughing, or just sitting for hours. One of Sally’s best qualities was her ability to connect with others. The “Sally Time” was so important to others they would travel across the country just to have these memories with her.

When it came to watching her boys play sports it was nearly impossible to keep her out of the stands. Her voice was always heard cheering her Hawkeyes onto victory. She was the most loving, encouraging, and beautiful mother anyone could ask for.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Benny and Ella Rodery and Neil and Eleanor Lambert.

She is survived by her husband Glenn of 21 years and children: Evan, Brady and Keaton Mudd; parents: Dale and Connie Lambert of Columbiaville, MI, Ned and Phyllis Mudd of Oxford, MI; sisters: Laura Pratt of Flint, Liana and Robert Burns of Columbiaville, MI, Lynette and Troy Shannon of Otisville, MI; brothers-in-law: Randy and Mary Mudd of Auburn, MI, Kirk and Erica Mudd of Zeeland; nieces and nephews: Brett and Melissa Church, Robert and Lisa Burns, Stacey and Jason Eldred, Joshua and Samantha Burns, Jason Burns, Taylor and Jonah Wright, Ellie Shannon, Andrew and Alex Mudd, Joshua and Mitchell Mudd and Chris Yonai.

A funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Church 77 West 32nd Street in Holland.

Reverend John Westra will be officiating.

Burial will be in Riverside – Hamilton Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1-3 PM and 5-8 PM on Monday, May 21, 2012 at Mulder Chapel – Dykstra Funeral Homes 188 West 32nd Street in Holland and from 10-11 AM prior to the service.
