Russell Curry

Russell A. Curry, age 62, of Holland died Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth.

Russell was born to Offie and Ada (Patton) Curry. He was a veteran serving his country in the US Army. Russell loved the Lord with all of his heart and used his gift of singing to glorify God. He had a FIERCE love for his wife Angela, his kids, family and a special love for his dear grandkids. Russell had a big, kind heart, liked to laugh, loved helping people and had a passion for his church family. He enjoyed singing, music, golf, reading and studying literature, especially pertaining to the Bible and History.

He is survived by his wife Angela of 31 years; mother: Ada Davis; daughter: Amber Fugitt (Nathan); sons: Russell Rogers, Keenan Curry, Aaron Lacata (Gina) and Bryce Curry; grandchildren: JaQuai, Cierra, RJ, Ariana, Christian, Ella, Jude and Ivie; siblings: William Greene, Michelle Lawrence, Louella Freeman, Lisa Curry, Trisha Davis and Dedre Stewart; aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service with military honors will be 11:00 am, Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Shekinah Revival Ministries, 1941 Washington Avenue, Holland, MI 49423. Reverend Clif White will be officiating. Burial will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery.
