Rosemary V. Thomas, age 97, of Holland died December 4, 2021.

She was a member of the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Rosemary and her late husband Bill co-owned a men’s and boy’s clothing and shoe store in Lombard, IL for 45 years. She was a loving mother. In her early years she was a prolific pianist and organist in the church, an avid reader of many different types of books, she really enjoyed watching and feeding wildlife and being out by Lake Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her husband William A. Thomas in 2015.

She is survived by her children: Linda Thomas of Holland, James Thomas of Nice, France, Paul and Nancy Thomas of Holland, Christine and Jeff Van Natter of Holland; grandchildren: Kenneth H. and Jessica Lynn Kopka III, William Thomas Kopka, Charlotte and Edward Thierry, Preston Nahas Thomas, Jeffrey Van Natter; great granddaughter: Katie; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, December 13, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 480 North 152nd Avenue in Holland. Father Michael Burt will be officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10-11 am prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Homes-Northwood Chapel.
