Ronnye Mae VanDyke, age 88, of Holland Michigan, went to her eternal home Monday afternoon surrounded by family.

Ronnye was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 26, 1936 and later moved to Fennville, Michigan.

She attended Holland High School where she was crowned homecoming queen. She was a loving person with a sense of humor that was enjoyed by many people.

Ronnye spent her career working at Meijer in the cash office. She was part owner in Bayberrie Tree doing bookkeeping in her retirement years. She enjoyed many hobbies including; golf, music, playing the organ, cooking, and mastering the skill of calligraphy. She loved people and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Ronnye will be remembered by her children; Rick (Shari) VanDyke, Julie VanDyke (Daughter-in-law), Roxanne VanDyke, Ryan VanDyke. 7-Grandchildren, 12-Great Grandchildren, Sister Karen (Alan) Schulmberger, In-laws; Arvid VanDyke, Karen Porter, Lynnore & Ralph Robrahn, Deborah & Frank Scalabrino, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald VanDyke of 64 years, her son Rodney VanDyke, her parents Rudy and Marie Halach, and parents-in-law Henry and Betty VanDyke.

Funeral service will be held at Dykstra Funeral Home Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Ave, Holland , MI on March 25, 2025 at 11am with Reverend Ren Broekhuizen officiating with visitation one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Gentiva Hospice.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Appledorn South for the care they extended to Ronnye. She had many friends who lived and worked there. She appreciated and loved you all!
