Ronald L. Bouwman

Ronald L. Bouwman, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021 in Holland.

He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Christina; his children, Jennifer (Mike) Janssen, Todd Bouwman; step-sons, Chance LeFurge, Ty LeFurge; and grandson, Dawson Janssen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-son, Brodie LeFurge, and a brother.

Ron worked his whole life to care for his family and his friends. He worked for Shoemaker Heating and Cooling for 44 years, both at the Holland and Stevensville locations as a branch manager. He had a passion for the outdoors which included spending lots of time fishing, hunting, and golfing. He could often be found spending time in any of his friend’s beloved “garages”, telling stories or giving great advice. Rons best attribute was his humor, he always knew how to make someone laugh and his laughter was just as contagious. He loved sports, was an avid UofM fan (Go Blue!), but his greatest times were spent with his family, especially his grandson Dawson. He will be missed by all that knew him.
