“Precious in the sight of the Lord Is the death of His saints. O Lord, truly I am Your servant” Psalms 116:15

Robin Keith Knaack Sr passed peacefully into the presence of His Redeemer on March 7, 2024.

“Bob” Knaack, born August 13, 1933, leaves behind his beloved wife of 72 years, Barbara A. Knaack (née Nydam), their seven children, Bob (and Beverley) Knaack, Jr., Bonnie Meyer (and Mary DePaola), Brenda Doneth, Bettye (and Tom) Driscoll, Beverly (and John) McSauby, Barbara (and Matthew) Van DerMale, and Bernie (and Nancy) Knaack; beloved grand children, great grandchildren and many dear friends.

Bob Knaack was a true man of God, who leaves behind a legacy of love and integrity that grew from the grace of his Savior. Raised in Chicago, he served in the US Navy, meeting his wife in Boston, MA, called to the ministry and educated at Reformed Bible Institute, served as a evangelist at Gibson Christian Reformed Chapel, then also as a teacher and mentor during his career as a “tent maker”/ builder in western Michigan. He really loved and shared his faith with so many and will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial service will be 11 am Saturday (March 9) at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1015 East 32nd Street. No visitation is scheduled.

Memorial contributions may be made to Middle East Reformed Fellowship or a Mission of One's choice.

Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel.
