On the morning of July 18th, 2022, Robert (Bob) Trepa of Holland died at the age of 84.

Bob was born in Syracuse, New York to Frank and Genevieve (Orzel) Trepa in 1938. He attended the University of Wisconsin and Albany College. He would start in chemistry and coauthored several patents before transitioning to his lifetime career of sales. He would fall in love and marry Karen. Together they would raise four children.

Bob was an active member of the Polish Union of America and the Polish Home in Syracuse. He was an active Monarch Butterfly Conservationist, longtime Boy Scout leader, and passionate Big Ten football fan and tailgater! Bob was a consummate people person, was a man of faith, and loved the promise of the open road.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife Karen.

He is survived by his children: Kevin (Kaoru) Trepa of San Diego, CA, Timothy (Julie) Trepa of Boone, Iowa, Melissa (Randy) Jacobusse of Zeeland, MI and Robert (Kristi) Trepa of Holland, MI; grandchildren: Karina, Katelyn (Aaron), Kelsey, Alisha, Melissa (Josh), Melanie (Tim), Dillan, Keith, and Brianna; Sister: Patricia Shewchuk of Syracuse, NY; sister-in-law: Joan Leitner of Batavia, NY; nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am, Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church, 480 North 152nd Avenue in Holland. Father Michael Burt will be officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Syracuse, NY.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland. Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Homes-Northwood Chapel.
