Robert Serr

Robert Allen Serr, age 77, of Holland Michigan passed away on July 20, 2017 at Holland Hospital.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Aletha Faye Serr (1977), and Carlyle Serr (2016).

He is survived by a brother, Michael (Arlene) Serr of Saugatuck; sister, Rebecca (Jeffrey) Israels of Saugatuck, and sister, Julia Serr TerHaar of Trout Lake Michigan.

Born in 1937, in Marshall Michigan, Bob graduated from Marshall High School in 1957. He played many sports as a youth and excelled in baseball.

Bob joined the U.S. Marine Corps after graduation and later attended Albion College.

After college he moved to Holland, Michigan, to join the family business where he was the President of High Q Manufacturing until his retirement in 1991.

As an adult he enjoyed golf, softball and recreational boating on Lake Michigan.

A cremation has taken place, and a graveside service is being planned for a future date.
