Robert D. Overway, age 84 of Holland, passed away September 27, 2021 in the comfort of his home.
He was happily married for over 59 years to his wife Beatrice, and had two children. He worked for over 40 years for the United States Postal Service which brought him a lot of joy. He enjoyed wood working, reading, watching the Tigers, and most importantly spending time with his family.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice; brothers, Roger Overway, and Larry Overway.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Overway; son, Tony Overway; grandchildren, Taylor Overway, Colin Overway, Madelyn Overway; sister, Myrna VanZanten; brother, Al (Gail) Overway; sisters-in-law, Tida Overway, Joan Overway, along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will take place on Thursday, September 30 at 1:00pm at Rose Park Reformed Church.
