Robert E. Rosendahl, age 94 of Holland, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022.

He is survived by his daughters Reverend Diane Konynenbelt, Karen and Mark Bosma, Barb and Curt Bosman, daughter-in-law Kristi Rosendahl; grandchildren Chad Konynenbelt, Tammi and Gary Hossink, Emily Rosendahl, Andrea Rosendahl, Travis Rosendahl, Eric Rosendahl, Matt and Krista Bosma, Kourtney and Rich Kiekentveld, Josh and Erica Bosman, Jeremy and Heather Bosman; 14 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years Lois Rosendahl, sons Charles Rosendahl and Keith Rosendahl; son-in-law Harry Konynenbelt; 3 great grandchildren, and Marcella Rosendahl, wife of 14 years; his parents Marion and Hazel Rosendahl; brothers James Rosendahl, Charles Rosendahl, Hugh Rosendahl; father and mother-in-law John and Ella Caauwe; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law John and Joan Caauwe, Marion and Art Pete, Cornelius and Marie Caauwe, and John and Irene Caauwe..

Bob was born in Wayne Michigan and moved with his family to Holland. Following high school graduation, he enlisted in the army and proudly served his country during WWII stationed in Italy. Upon his discharge he returned home where he met and married Lois. Bob's early career was as an installer of floors for Brower Furniture before working for more than 30 years in Quality Control for GE.

Life brought Bob numerous challenges, including providing care for several beloved family members during times of sickness, which he lovingly and faithfully lived, believing in the goodness of God! His deep faith and love for his family stands as a legacy of faith, hope and love of the God he served.

Bob was active in Grace Reformed Church serving in consistory and teaching Sunday school, and most recently at Community Reformed.

Upon his retirement, Bob Would pursue his passion for woodworking and golf. He loved helping his children build a total of eleven houses. His dry sense of humor was well known among his family and many friends.

“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Phil 1:21 describes Bob's life and legacy.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 22 at 11:00am at Dykstra Funeral Home - Northwood Chapel, (295 Douglas Ave, Holland), with a one-hour visitation prior to the service starting at 10:00am. Burial will take place at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
