Richard Phillip Vanregenmorter, age 79, of Holland, went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 28, 2023 with his wife and children by his side.

Richard lived a long, adventurous life. He was born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan before serving his country as a medic in the Vietnam War. After returning home he worked at Heinz where he met his wife, Elva. In December they would have been married 50 years. Richard went on to retire from Bessar Lithobar as a machinist. Richard and Elva lived and raised their family in Laketown Township where they raised their son and daughter. Richard was the epitome of man's man, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, mechanic, and ran a Christmas tree farm as a family operation. His work ethic was one to be admired. He was a selfless man, and anyone who knew him would agree that he would help anyone in need. Richard’s six grand-kids were the light of his world, and brought him so much joy up until the day he died.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Bonnie VanRegenmorter; two sisters, Patsy Beith and Mary Welton; brother-in-law, Oscar Rios and sister-in-law, Susana Klien. Richard is survived by his wife Elva VanRegenmorter; son, Jason VanRegenmorter; daughter, Lindsay (Jared) Storm; grandchildren, Parker, Seamus, Lincoln, Magdalene, Martino and Everleigh; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alfonso and Molly Rios, Michael and Alice Alanis, Rene Rios, Luis Rios, Robert and Erika Rios, Juan and Dolores Medellion, Rod Miller and Estella Eaves along with several nieces and nephews.
