Richard Storey

Richard Storey, age 86, of Zeeland, passed away on Thursday May 3, 2012 in Heritage Healthcare in Zeeland.

Richard was born in Johannesburg, MI and retired from Baker Furniture after forty years of employment.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Louise Storey of Holland; his children, Monte and Linda Storey of Holland, Douglas and Sharron Storey of Allegan, Rick and Judy Storey of Holland; his grandchildren, Stacy and Mark Sitzema, Chad Storey, Miranda Moore, Michael Storey, Joshua and Becky Storey and ten great-grandchildren; his sister and brother-in-law, E.J. and Les Williams; his sister-in-law, Rosemarie Wells; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tom and Donna Mankowski, Gerald and Tootie Mankowski; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm on Monday May 7, 2012 at the Northwood Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes, 295 Douglas Avenue.

Visitation will be held from 2-4pm on Sunday May 6, 2012 at the Northwood Chapel.

Burial will take place in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be given to Spectrum Health Hospice and Palliative Care or the Alzheimer's Association .
