Peggy Ann Hydorn, age 79, of Holland, died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Freedom Inn.

Peggy was born in Orville, Ohio and moved with her family in 1967 to the Holland area. She was actively involved at Peace Lutheran Church and most recently Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir.

Peggy was also a past member of The Holland Newcomers Club, Holland Garden Club, the Gourmet Club, and enjoyed making costumes for the Holland Civic Theater. She served on the board of the Valpo Guild and worked in the Holland are as an Avon Representative. Before Peggy retired she was employed as a travel agent at Marsilje Travel.

In 1991, her husband Allan preceded her in death and in 2009, a brother, Bruce Fittler.

She is survived by her children: Michael and Debbie Hydorn of Fredericksburg, VA; Tamara and Tom Truesdell of Zeeland, MI; grandchildren, Sarah Hollinger of Lake Forest, IL; David Hydorn of Rogers Park, IL; Dustin Truesdell of San Diego, CA; and Taryn Truesdell of Kentwood, MI; great grandson, Sebastian Hollinger; and sisters-in-law, Kathy Mays of Bellevue, OH; and Margie Hydorn of St. Albans, Maine.

Funeral services will be held Friday 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3990 112th Avenue, Holland. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park, Wooster, OH. Visitation is Thursday 5-7 at Northwood Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes, 295 Douglas Avenue. Memorial gifts may be given to American Diabetes Association.
