Peggy Louise Christy Clark, 67 years ol”der”, of Holliday,Texas living in Avilla, Indiana. A mighty woman of God was called home to be with the Lord, making the beautiful early morning hours of May 25, 2022 one star brighter.

Throughout the various chapters of Peggy’s life she built her “Walton Family”. She is survived by her Loving and Devoted husband of 22 years Wilburn Lee Clark of Holliday, Texas living in Avilla, Indiana. Peggy was full of wisdom, strength, and patience as a mother and now waits for 11 Children to continue their journeys of growth into the men and women she knows to become: Daughter Mistie Comerford & husband Matthew of Albion, Indiana; Son Derek Christy of Holliday, Texas. Peggy was preceded in passing by another Loving and Devoted husband of 20 years Kevin Francis Christy, as well as her infant Son Dustin Winger, Son Joseph Van Clark, and Grandson Cody Lewis Christy.

Peggy is Everything Yahweh says Love is. She is kind, loving, patient. She is not resentful, but rejoiceful, full in life and all those around her. 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8. “4 love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 Does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. “

Peggy was born July 3, 1954 in Traverse City, Michigan. After graduating Traverse City Senior High Peggy’s outgoing, steadfast, compassionate heart and mind led her to community outreach services; including rising to the position of Director of a Chapter of the American Red Cross in California. Being the devoted wife/ homemaker she also was, however, led her onto a new path. Given her penchant to become educated on all points historical or intriguing, and her gift of gab. She received great mentorship and went into antiquity sales to provide for her family. Her fervor for community outreach and spiritual testimony never wavered. Therefore leading her to start her Butterfly Ministries which would provide bibles, prayer support, and much more for any and all who were in need. Her mantra is as much that this life is it is too the likeness of a cocoon, and we will emerge from this life as something enormously greater; much like the Butterfly. “For we are evolving into the men and women of God He ordained us to be.”
