Paulino Ortiz

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paulino Ortiz Sr., who died on July 29, 2025, at the age of 82, in Holland, MI.

Born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico on June 22, 1943, Paulino was the beloved son of Frutoso Marquez Sr. & Cirila C. Marquez. He was a devoted husband, loving parent, cherished grandparent, and loyal friend.

Paulino is survived by his wife, Janie Ortiz, his brothers, Frustoso (Mirna) Marquez, Ricardo (Sue) Marquez, his sister, Mary Vasquez, his children, Roberto Enrique (Mary) Ortiz, Paulino (Michele) Ortiz Jr, James Steven Ortiz, Sandra (Scott) Vanderklok, Debra (Michael) Larson, and Natasha Ortiz, as well as, his grandchildren, Rob Ortiz, Amthony Ortiz, Luis Ortiz, Shaminka Tulp, Paulino Ortiz III, Rj Creighton, Ashleigh Ortiz, Autumn Drnek, James Robert Ortiz, Hailee Ortiz, Michael Jr Larson, Matthew Larson, Megan Larson, Albert (Kristin) Maynard IV, Amber Lea Martin, Brandy (Tristan Hall) Vanderklok, and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends who loved and admired Paulino deeply. He was preceded in death by, Aristeo (Linda) Marquez and Faustino (Mary) Vasquez.

Those who knew Paulino will remember him for being a hard worker, helping others, working outdoors, enjoying gardening and flea markets as well as being a loving father and husband.
