Paul A. Nyland age 70 of Georgetown Township died unexpectedly Wednesday March 5, 2014 at his home.
Known as “Pizza Paul” because of his many years of pizza experience at Gordon Food Service and Fontanini, Paul retired in 2004. Following his retirement, he ran a mobile pizza concesssion business. For The past few years he was also employed as a consultant for Fontanini.
He is survived by his children Michael and Colleen Nyland of Aurora, Il, daughter, Michelle and Jason Richards of Johnson City , TN., grandchildren; Kathryn, Anders and Cassaundra.Special friend, Alexis, Brothers and sisters; Judy Jolink of West Tawakoni, Tx., Bruce and Rita Nyland of Fennville, Jim and Kim Nyland of Holland, Richard and Myra Nyland of Grand Haven and Donald Nyland also of Holland as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 AM at the Northwood Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes, 295 Douglas Ave. with Rev. Frank Senters officiating. Burial will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens
Friends may greet the family Sunday 3PM to 6PM at the chapel.
Memorial gifts may be given to American Cancer Society or Salvation Army.
