Patricia Josephine Sauser, 83, of Holland, Michigan (Hometown of Burbank, Illinois) passed away on June 2, 2021 at her residence of Addington Place of Lakeside Vista in Holland, Michigan.

Patricia was born in Chicago, Illinois to Alexander and Anne Lideika on March 16, 1938. She worked as a sales cashier at Jewel Food Stores in the Chicagoland area, earning numerous awards and recognitions in her 30+ years there. Her customers were her number one priority, and she was known and loved by many near and far. Patricia was a very natural leader and entrepreneur with Mary Kay Cosmetics for over 30 years, inspiring people of all ages to believe in themselves. She would say, “Take care of yourself so that you are able to care of others.” That was truly the embodiment of her time on earth. She embraced life, love, her family, and her friends.

In her free time, Patricia would organize tours, help plan special events, and was always one for fun! She always made the journey a good one. She would say, “Why wait for pushing up daisies….live your life now!”

Patricia is survived by her daughters Therese Alar (Frank) and Michele Keller-Adrianse (Tony); grandchildren Frank Alar, Jr. (Erik), Michael Alar (Ysabel Rodriguez), and Donald Alar; great-grand-children Jocelyn and Benjamin Alar; sister Dorothy Linden (Frank), brother Gene Foxen; nieces Tina Kelly (Joe), LouAnn Stafford and nephew, Allen McGlothlin. Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved mother Anne Lideika, and father Alexander Lideika, and nephew Kenneth McGlothlin.

Funeral service is private per Patricia’s wishes, and with immediate family only. We welcome your thoughts, stories, and prayers below.

The family also wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Father Steven who was with us throughout her final days, as well as her dear friends at Lakeside Vista who took such great care of Patricia, enjoying their social time and holy days. As they say in the final chapter of any great inspirational story, “Hers was a life well lived!”

Patricia held a special place in her heart for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She made her wishes known that we think first and foremost of giving children hope and a chance at recovery, enjoying a long and healthy life. We, the family, are honoring her wishes asking that in lieu of flowers, donations are made to:
