Patricia Hunt, age 82 of Holland, passed away February 1st, 2017, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years Arthur in 1991; her sisters Maxine, Margaret, and Linda; and her brothers James, Henry, Sylvester, Quincy, Dave, Thom, Warren, and Manuel. She is survived by her children Etta Hunt, Gerald and Bonnie Hunt, and Kristy Miller; 2 grandchildren, Tony Gawron and Andrea Hughes; sisters Laura Bell, Vienne Lee, and Oletha Knight; and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia was employed at General Electric from 1966 to 1990. She was passionate about volunteer work and had been known as "The Sandwich Lady" at Evergreen Commons. Patricia was a member of Grace Outreach Church in Holland and served on the Jury Board of Ottawa County for several years. She will always be remembered as being loyal and loving to her family and friends.

The family would like to thank the wonderful and caring staff at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon. Their compassion, kindness, and professionalism was exceptional.

Contributions may be made in Patricia's memory to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 7 at 1:00pm with a one-hour visitation prior at Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Ave Holland, MI 49424 with Rev. Ben Davis officiating.
