Paige Mata

Paige Meilin Mata, 15, of Holland went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 17, 2016.

Paige was a sophomore at Holland High School. She was a daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend. Paige was caring, loving, happy, adventurous, servant-hearted and loved Jesus with all her heart. She was involved in ministry and serving children. Paige left a legacy of love. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Robert Thorington in 2011.

She is survived by her parents: Pablo and Julie Mata of Holland; sisters: Jennifer and Philip Millard of Greenville, Katherine Mata of Holland and Stacy Mata of Holland; grandmother: Betty Thorington of Cedar Springs; grandparents: Gregory and Sabina Mata of Holland; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends.

A funeral service will be 12:00 pm, Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Christ Memorial Church (main sanctuary), 595 Graafschap Road in Holland. Rev. John Burden will be officiating with Rev. Britton Smith and Father Charles Brown also participating in the service. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2-5 pm, Friday, September 23, 2016 at Christ Memorial Chapel, please use entrance D.
