Oliva Ibanez-Huerta, age 80 of Zeeland, lost her battle with cancer and passed away Friday August 14, surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Job Huerta.
She is survived by her 12 children, Ana Huerta, Maria (Benedicto) Huerta, Ninfa (Salvador) Jimenez, Columba Huerta, Irma Huerta, Gerardo Huerta, Angelina (Joel) Serna, Esther (Armando) Huerta, Rigoberto (Patricia) Huerta, Karina (Cesar) Godinez, Jose de Jesus (Juana) Huerta & Marco Antonio (Maribel) Huerta.
Grandchildren Mary & Olivia Briones, Karina & Benny Huerta, Joanne Pelayo, Bryan & Leslie Jimenez, Ernesto Rocha, Vanesa Govea, Amaury Alejandro Huerta, Alyssa, Diego & Briannah Huerta, Jessica & Cynthia Huerta, Eli Ivan Serna, Maritza & Eric Huerta, Jasmin, Yadira & Alexandra Huerta, Aaliyah & Jacob Godinez, Juan, Brenda, Arleth & Jazmin Huerta, Jeidy Huerta.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am, Thursday (August 20) at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 171 West 13th Street, with Father Kyle Kilpatrick officiating.
Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel.
