Norma Parker age 88 of Holland and Mesa, AZ. died Monday March 12, 2012 at Mountain View Hospital in Mesa, AZ.

Born in Overisel, Norma was a member of Overisel Reformed Church where she directed the youth choir. She was most recently a member of First Reformed Church where she was involved in many programs including the choir.

Norma was a long time member of the Holland archery club and was past champion. She enjoyed the outdoors, spending many hours birding as well as drawing and painting. Norma spent many summers at her cottage on Glen Lake.

She was married to Andrew Naber of Holland who preceded her in death in 1990 and in 1994 married James Parker. She was also preceded in death by a son Andre Naber in 1995 and step-son Arthur Parker in 2010.

She is survived by her husband James and children; Margo and Rein Vanderhill of Alton, Iowa, Linda Dykema of Holland, step-daughter Mary Harrington of Holland, step-son Michael Parker of Holland, daughters-in-law, Pam (Kirk) Johnson of Holland and Shirley Parker of Holland; grandchildren; Nicole and Dietrik Vanderhill, Jeffrey (Sarah) Dykema, Matthew Dykema, Jason, Brandon, and Melanie Naber, Leanne (AJ) Abbas, and Adam Resseguie, Jamie Harrington and special friend, Eric Enger; sisters-in-law, Joanne Parker of Lansing and Polly Parker of Sebring, FL as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM at First Reformed Church, 630 State St., Holland with Dr. Dan Gillett officiating. Burial will be in Overisel Cemetery. Friends may call on the family Monday 7-9 at the Mulder Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes, 188 West 32nd St., Holland.
