Norma J. DeWitt

Norma Jean DeWitt, age 87, of Holland, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and will be deeply missed. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the most important part of her life. She was also a caregiver to many family members. When someone met Norma, they would comment on how extremely nice of a person she was. She was a member of the Calvary Reformed Church, Calvary on 8th. Norma will truly be missed by all she met.

Norma is survived by her sons, Richard (Vicki) DeWitt, William (Patricia) DeWitt, and Thomas DeWitt. She had fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren, with one on the way. She is also survived by her sister, Janice (Arkie) Goodin; sister-in-law, Fran Kempkers, and brother-in-law, Larry (Lynn) DeWitt.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Dale DeWitt; sister, Donna (John) Gingrich, and her brother Ted Kempkers.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, July 31, 2023, at Calvary Reformed Church, 995 East 8th Street, Holland, Michigan 49423. A Celebration of Life, with Reverend Dan Carter officiating, will follow at 11:00 am, in the church sanctuary. A luncheon in the fellowship hall will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to Hospice of Holland, 270 Hoover Blvd, Holland, Michigan 49423.

Professional service has been entrusted to the Mulder Chapel.
