Nellie Bos, age 96, of Holland died Monday, March 27, 2017 at Resthaven Care Center.
Nellie was born in Englewood, CO and raised in Mt. Greenwood, IL. Nellie and her husband John Bos were married April 9, 1942 and lived in South Holland, IL before moving to Holland in 1969. Nellie was a member of Park Christian Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her husband John Bos in 2001.
She is survived by her children: Nancy and Ken Derks of Holland and Deb and Don Kerridge of Saugatuck; grandchildren: Meghan and Kyle Redder and Brian Derks; step grandchildren: Adam and Karen Kerridge and Jewl and Nathan Fry; step great grandchildren: Luke, Cameron, Delaney, Josie, Blake, Brody and BayLyn; sister-in-law: Ethel Brunger of Grand Rapids; nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street in Holland. Rev. Dr. Stan Scripps will be officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery.
