Nancy Zeedyk

Nancy Ann Zeedyk (VanderPlaats), age 68 of Holland passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 7, 2016. She joins her beloved daughter, Alison Ann, her father, Peter, her brother, Robert and her favorite Corgis, Oliver and Zoe. She found her niche early on selling homes to families around Holland. Later in life, she spent hours looking for the perfect piece to decorate her home or just the right clothes to wear but she refused to buy anything unless it was on sale. Nancy had a knack for always finding a great deal, she was truly the ultimate professional shopper. Nancy loved animals even more than she loved shopping. She was the “Pet Nanny” who cared for other people’s pets while they vacationed. She was so beloved and devoted, a few dogs left toys with her so they had a reason to return. Nancy leaves behind her mother, Alice Vander Plaats, her sisters Judith (Robert) Kalee, Linda Russo and many nieces, nephews and friends. Nancy loved to laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor and will be well-remembered for all her funny stories and her colorful personality. She was the life of every party. She loved to travel as long as there was sun, sand and surf. Nancy will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be, 2 pm, Friday (October 14), at Third Reformed Church.
