Nancy Lee Grigsby-Bers, age 74, of Holland went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Holland Hospital.
Nancy was a member of Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church. She received her master’s degree in education and was a school teacher in the community for many years. Nancy received her undergrad in music and really enjoyed singing with the Latvian choir in her earlier years. She liked nature and being outside.
She is survived by her children: Gary Nothdurft of San Francisco, CA, Tammy and Mark Walters of Zeeland, Eriks and Kimberlee Bers of North Liberty, IN; grandchildren: Nicole and Andrew Walters and Ashley and Derick Bers; great granddaughter: Haylee; brothers and sister: Larry and Sharon Grigsby of Coloma, Carol Whitemeyer of Kentwood, Steve and Barbara Grigsby of Coloma; nieces, nephews and cousins
A memorial mass will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church 480 North 152nd Avenue in Holland.
Father Charlie Hall will be officiating.
Inurnment will be in North Shore Memory Gardens in Hagar Shores, MI.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
