Milton Boerigter

Milton Boerigter, age 91 of Holland, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021.

Milton was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved boating in Michigan & Florida, jeeping, music & traveling the world. His creativity in retirement led most recently to hand carving coastal birds.

Milton was preceded in death by a son, Roger in 2014 and a sister, Gert Busscher in 2007 (husband Andrew).

He is survived by the love of his life, Carolyn of 31 years; children, Dean Boerigter, Thomas and Jill Boerigter, Janet and Jerry DeFouw, and Mark and Kate Grindstaff; daughter-in-law, Roxy Boerigter; 7 grandchildren, Megan Vandermeer, Benjamin Boerigter, Elizabeth Vandermeer, Will Boerigter, Tom Boerigter and Garrett Schmitt, Clare Boerigter, and Ethan Voss; several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday (November 17) at Christ Memorial Church, 595 Graafschap Road, with Rev. David Blauw officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, in Hamilton, MI. Visitation will be 10:00 to 10:45 am Wednesday (November 17) at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland.
