Life Story / Obituary
Michele Blizzard, age 54 of Hamilton, passed away February 18, 2024.
Michele was born March 8, 1969 in Saginaw, MI to Richard C. Wilson and Hope Guadalupe Cruz, and graduated from Saginaw Arthur Hills High School. Michele moved to Holland for work and most recently worked at Transmatic as a quality supervisor where she met her loving husband Tim. The two married on October 12, 2013. To say that Michele had a big heart would be a complete understatement. She was always looking after others, and especially those who were less fortunate. She was constantly donating her time and money through organizations like “boxes of joy” and “unbound,” where she had sponsored a child in Columbia. She enjoyed reading, shopping with her mom, loved animals (especially dogs), and loved baking cookies and treats for her loved ones. Her favorite times were around the holidays, where she could spend precious time with those she loved most, her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Michele was preceded in death by her father, Richard C. Wilson, and her brother, George E. Wilson, and niece Crystal Wilson.
She is survived by her husband of almost 11 years, Timothy; daughter, Talia Almanza (Josh Grimaldo); granddaughter, Malysa Almanza; mother, Hope Wilson; brother, Donald (Lisa) Wilson; step-children, Nicholas (Abby) Blizzard, Zachary (Rachel) Blizzard; 5 step-grandchildren; nephews, Michael Wilson, Jonathon Wilson; niece, Annette Ambrosini, along with many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 22 at 11:00am at Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel (188 W 32nd Street, Holland) with a one-hour visitation prior to the service at 10am.
