Mary Lee Thomann
Loving wife and mother went to be in her precious Lord and Savior’s rest June 13, 2018.
Born in Tennessee, Mary moved to Holland, Michigan in her early adulthood. She married Daniel Thomann in 1965. She loved gardening, both vegetable and flower gardens, but her passion was with flowers. Mary had even won the Holland Beautification Awards for her home landscape and design. From early spring to late fall, you could always find her working in her many flowerbeds. Mary was always ready to share and help others with gardening tips and maintenance chores.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Steve and Ottie Jones, along with her sister Sarah Mead.
She is survived by her husband Daniel Thomann; son, David Thomann; sisters, Marie Matthews of Paoli IN, Helen Curtis of Winchester TN, Ruby (Jon) Guiterrez of E. Gary IN, Glenda (Jimmy) Jackson of Decherd TN; brothers, Lloyd (Linda) Jones of TN, Floyd Jones of TN; sisters-in-law, Melba Schrotenboer of Holland, Bonnie (Jerry) Skaggs of Holland, Peggy Van Eyk of Holland, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
