Mary Konynenbelt

Mary L. Konynenbelt, age 72, of Holland went to meet her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 19, 2016 at her home.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Calvin CRC, a caring nurse at Holland Hospital, a Kids Hope mentor and involved in many Bible Studies. Mary enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents John and Marjorie Sharpe and a grandson Samuel.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years Raymond John and children: Kevin and Debbie Konynenbelt of Lake Worth, FL, Amy and Kendall Kiekover of Zeeland, MI and Julie and Chris Groenhof of Hamilton, MI; grandchildren: Katie (Jaime), Michael, Megan, Anna, Sara (Brian), Jonathon (Christina), Rebecca, Benjamin, Isaac, Josiah, Gabriel, Moriah, Andre, Zander and Kaitlin; brother: Jon R. and Joy Sharpe of Anchorage, AK; sisters and brothers-in-law: Herma Jansens of Sarnia, Ontario, Ann and Bob Veenkamp of Sarnia, Ontario, Harry and Diane Konynenbelt of Hudsonville and Ina and Don Jansen of Holland; aunt, uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, December 23, 2016 at Calvin Christian Reformed Church, 387 West Lakewood Blvd. in Holland. Rev. Kent Van Til will be officiating. Burial will be at North Holland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue in Holland. Memorial contributions may be given to Back to God Ministries International. www.dykstrafuneralhome.com
