Mary Jane Baron

Mary Jane Baron, age 83, of Holland, died Tuesday September 1, 2009 in Oakcrest Manor of Holland.

Mary Jane was born March 19, 1926 to the Rev. John R. and Jeanette (Schoon) Mulder. She was a member of Hope Church and a former member of Trinity Reformed Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Philip Baron in 1999 and an infant son James Baron.

She is survived by her children, Jeff Baron of Zeeland, Mark and Laurie Baron of Holland, and Amy and Steven Dickerson of Zeeland; her grandchildren, Eric(Amy) Baron, Rachel Baron, Susan Baron, Tom Dickerson, and Peter Dickerson; her sister, Joyce(Gene) Scholten of Holland; her sister-in-law, Frances Baron of Zeeland; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Saturday September 5, 2009 at Hope Church, 77 West 11th Street with the Rev. Gordon Wiersma and the Rev. Jill Russell officiating.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:45am to 10:45am at Hope Church.

Burial will take place in Graafschap Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland or Western Theological Seminary.
